HOW SHE WEARS IT
with Lisa Mayock
I've always looked up to Lisa; she was and will always be the cool, unassuming girl with inspiring style and singular taste, and always on the cusp of discovery - from sharing the best flea markets to an aspirational, vintage book or magazine. Having known her from our New York days being in fashion, I would run into her occasionally in the city and Paris when we both attended Premier Vision, the largest fashion textile tradeshow. Since then, Lisa has made LA her home with her incredibly kind husband and two boys. I sat down with Lisa as she shared how she transitioned from fashion to interiors:
MAYOCK: "I always loved decorating my home, but I started doing interiors outside of that in 2021 with a commission for a ground-up 10,000 sq ft house in Florida. A friend of ours always told me she loved the style of our house and asked me to work on theirs. The project started with my being slated to design one room and snowballed into decorating the entire house."
"Before interiors, I had two fashion brands - there’s so much synergy between both types of design. Developing a look and feel, combining materials in a unique way, and working with proportions were all skills honed by designing clothes."
OUR RUBY TASSELS
4 Ways To Wear Our Tassels
I've always loved Rubies of all shades - lighter, more pink Rubies and deeper, more saturated Rubies. We preferred the darker rubies for this design and a disc-like custom cut for our precious stones. And, in desiring a multi-use purpose for our Tassel Collection, we designed them to be worn up to four different ways - as earrings, as a Sautoir wrap chain necklace, as a pendant on a necklace, or on one's large link bracelet.
STACK THEM
Pendants in Diamonds, Stones & Textures
After launching our Locket Collection in 2022, our clients requested more pendants to layer with their chains. This gave birth to our Pendant Collection, ranging in precious and semi-precious stones, textured gold, and diamonds.
RUBIES & PEARLS
Our Two Favorite Combinations
Adding a bit of color to one's wardrobe through accessories has always been such a joy. In designing our Tassel Collection, it was important to introduce stones for colors we loved—our deep red Rubies, our minty green Emeralds, our deep sea Blue Sapphires, and our Mustard-y Yellow Sapphires. When wearing our stone necklaces, we like to pair them with our hand-selected Tahitian and South Sea Pendants. And, if you're a fan of layering these pieces (like us), we like to pair different lengths together, as seen here - 18" and 25".
