Hand-Linked Chain Necklaces
In making our hand-linked chain, we begin by mixing our proprietary blend of metals to create our signature 18k yellow gold. Each solid gold chain link is individually cast, hand-linked, and polished multiple times by master craftspeople to achieve a seamless piece. Our links can only be made by hand, and even the smallest styles carry a distinct presence and weight.
Sculpted Chain
Each of our sculpted chain designs begins in the studio, where Danielle hand-sculpts every link form in clay to explore proportion, movement, and balance. Working by eye and feel, she refines the shape until the links naturally interlock, capturing the quiet rhythm and weight that define Sherman Field. Once perfected, these clay maquettes are molded and translated into wax and then cast in our proprietary 18k gold alloy. The result is a chain whose form originates entirely from the hand, preserving the subtle irregularities and tactile softness of the sculpted original.
Our Signature Links
Our signature links are designed in a range of scales, from small and refined to bold and sculptural. Each link carries its own weight and character, and depending on the length and proportion you choose, the feel of the chain changes entirely. Finding your link is a personal process, revealing the individuality of each chain.
Precious, Semi-Precious and Pearl Necklaces
Our hand-cut precious-stone rondelles are artisanally shaped and strung in Los Angeles to highlight their natural facets and subtle irregularities. The result is a light, one-of-a-kind strand that can be layered with a chain link or worn on its own.
Our pearl necklaces feature luminous cultured Akoya and salt-water pearls, chosen for their rich surface and timeless presence, each mounted in our warm 18k yellow gold and finished with the same handcrafted care as our chains.
