I met Megan through my close friend Natalie Krinsky, who, along with Domenica Dunlap, hosted a private event at Sherman Field a few years ago. Dressed adorably—oversized shirt, High Sport pants, Gucci loafers, and those large granny glasses—I absolutely loved how she put herself together. In less than an hour, Megan built a tray and layered herself in emerald and sapphire tassels, multiple lockets, pearls, and chains upon chains. Yet on her, it didn't just work—it looked perfectly right. I was inspired.

Fast forward two years: I reached out to ask if we could shoot together. Megan immediately said, "Of course!" The next day, my husband and photographer, Todd Selby, and I arrived at her home. She chose a few looks, styled herself in her favorite pieces, and we had fun capturing some shots together. Lucky me—we caught Megan just days before she moved across the country to New York!

Megan, one of five, grew up in a close-knit, politically active household where humor and community were central. After years of studying classical ballet, she followed her love of performing to the theater at Yale, eventually pivoting toward acting, where her sharp wit and comedic timing found their home. Now an accomplished feature and television actress, Megan brings her sense of whimsy and humor to every role she plays.

“I remember making my family laugh but for the first twenty years or so I studied classical ballet. I pivoted to theater while at Yale because I loved performing and was probably too chatty for ballet anyway.”
